Close to Ingleton, Riverside Caravan Park makes an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland, Lakes, Morecambe Bay and the Lancashire countryside.
The caravan park has been owned and managed by the Marshall family since the development from a green field site in the late 60s.
The sheltered level setting straddling the banks of the River Wenning is truly superb, screened by trees and natural hillsides with excellent walks along the riverbank and in the surrounding countryside.
For the more adventurous, the “Yorkshire Three Peaks”, which takes in Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough are very close by. River Wenning, ideal for fishing. Many walkers aim to walk all three within 12 hours, but of course you can take your time.
Facilities are provided for holiday home owners, touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents. Unfortunately, the park no longer accept tents.
