The views on the golf course of Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside are a sight to behold on a clear day, with a breathtaking background of the Lake District Fells.
The course has been under the ownership of the Marshall Family since 2009 and has a bright future ahead of it following many improvements over the last few years. The developments include fully refurbishing the Golf Shop, clubhouse, including new changing facilities as well as a new course layout and 8-bay covered driving range.

A bit about the course…
Bentham Golf Club has 18 holes set in a beautiful, undulating parkland setting which was first established in the early 1920’s.
The course is a par 71 and measures 6151 yards from the white tees. The course provides a challenging test to golfers of all abilities and has some of the smoothest greens in the area. The signature hole is the 10th, a par 3, where you look down from an elevated tee to an inviting green which lies tantalisingly on the other side of a pond.
