Close to our caravan park is the lovely Bentham Golf Course. The course has been described as the Augusta of The Yorkshire Dales because it is so attractive, has outstanding views of the surrounding countryside, and features seven ponds. The signature hole is the 8th, a par 3, where you look down from an elevated tee to an inviting green which lies tantalisingly on the other side of a pond.
Visitors regularly comment on the outstanding quality of the greens and say that Bentham is one of the most friendly clubs they've visited. A warm welcome is always extended to new members and visitors alike.

Bentham Golf Club has 18 holes set in a beautiful, undulating parkland setting which was first established in the early 1920’s.
The course is a par 71 and measures 6033 yards from the white tees. The course provides a challenging test to golfers of all abilities and has some of the smoothest greens in the area.
The views on the golf course of Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside are a sight to behold and on a clear day, players are presented with breathtaking views of the Lake District Fells. One thing we can guarantee, after a visit to Bentham you won’t be disappointed.

"WOW! what a site A+++++ The best site we have been on in ages, lovely big site not at all cramped, power, water and satelite TV points next to the caravan, big childrens play area and games room inside, dog friendly, the best bit of all for me though is the toilets/shower unbeleivably clean, heated floors, automatic showers which although a little short for me at 4 mins always guaranteed you hot water, which is more important than a long cold shower!
Plenty of nearby attractions lakes approx 1 hour away, the owners have spent a lot of time on this site and you can tell, we will definitely be calling back to Riverside!"
"What a fantastic place, just had 2 nights, if I said a quiet & tranquil setting, it would be an understatement, but that is not meaning children would be out of place, far from it.
Riverside has a great indoor games room & an outdoor play area which is suitable for children of all ages. As for the facilities, second too none, a credit to all concerned.
The village of High Bentham or Low Bentham are within a short walk of the park. Would recommend Riverside to all tourers & camper vans"
