Riverside Caravan Park is situated in the ideal location for exploring the North West of England.
Riverside is nestled on the borders of North Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria sandwiched idyllically between the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Not only that, but The Lake District is only a 40 minute drive away.
The park has an area dedicated to seasonal touring, there are 50 fully serviced hard standing pitches surrounded by level grassy areas. We pride ourselves on having a well presented, clean park and take great care in providing highly maintained pitches, ensuring everything meets the standards that you would expect from this 5 star park.
With having such a fantastic location, we find that our seasonal pitches are very popular with people who use us as a base camp for exploring many of the fantastic attractions nearby. As well as the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and the Lake District, there are many other places within a stone’s throw from your own seasonal pitch.
In the immediate area we have Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent making up the Yorkshire 3 Peaks which makes for some scenic hikes. There is also the White Scar Caves, Malham Cove and the Ingleton Waterfalls for those that like to explore on foot. Nearby Settle is also the start (or finish) of the spectacular Settle-Carlisle Railway.
The North West is a perfect location if you are a fan of the outdoors, but it is also a great location for those that prefer take life at a more leisurely pace. We have some great cities a short drive away from Riverside as well as many small market towns, each featuring fantastic pubs and cafes offering a place to sit and watch the world go by.
